Client: Witheld Location: Woodstock, New York This project for a NYC resident will serve as a place of quiet retreat that will stand in complete contrast in every way to the cramped confines of an urban dwelling. The House turns its back towards the driveway and all that is left behind on the long approach to the house. Passing through a 14" thick wall with minimalist penetrations, the house unfolds in a bold statement about transparency with the interior and the exterior bleeding into one open loft like space set peacefully in the middle of the mountains above Woodstock.
